"All of them have. I’m the only one who didn’t"
MIA claimed Jay-Z had told her to “get plastic surgery” after signing her.
The British rapper – real name Mathangi ‘Maya’ Arulpragasam – opened up about the outrageous demand the hip-hop mogul made when she first joined his record label Roc Nation.
MIA made the claim days before it was alleged that Jay-Z had raped a 13-year-old girl.
In the video, MIA said: “Even when I met Jay-Z and I signed to Roc Nation, the first thing he told me to do is get plastic surgery.
“I’m not insecure because I would’ve got plastic surgery.”
MIA joined Roc Nation in May 2012 which came ahead of the release of her fourth album Matangi.
She continued: “So their argument of, ‘Maya’s f***ing insecure, that’s why she needs to f***ing massage her ego’ fails.
“It fails. Fails because you turn around and ask… What women do you know who hasn’t had plastic surgery around [Jay-Z]?
“All of them have. I’m the only one who didn’t, which already proves the fact it’s not insecurity.”
She added that if she was actually insecure, she “would’ve done that [plastic surgery] 100 times over”.
MIA’s relationship with Roc Nation did not last as she announced that she was leaving the label after it pulled a trailer for a documentary that she had been making for her album in December 2013.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs at a party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in a civil lawsuit.
The accuser claimed the assault took place at a party after the award show.
The lawsuit was initially filed at New York’s Southern District this past October against Combs, with a refiling on December 8 naming the rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter.
Jay-Z denied the “heinous” rape allegations, slamming attorney Tony Buzbee for attention to “blackmail” him.
He told Page Six: What [Buzbee] had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.
“No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a very public fashion.
“So no, I will not give you one red penny!!”
In addition to urging the alleged victim to “file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!!”, Jay-Z expressed that he is heartbroken that his wife Beyonce and their three children will have to deal with this situation.
He said: “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.
“I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age.
“It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit.”
