"I’m all about the white wedding"
Bollywood beauty Malaika Arora candidly reveals that she wants a beach destination wedding in a white gown.
Malaika Arora has been dating actor Arjun Kapoor for quite some time.
It was speculated that the couple started dating soon after Malaika divorced her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan.
Malaika and Arbaaz announced their separation in 2016 and legally divorced on May 11, 2017, after 17 years of marriage.
Arjun and Malaika were spotted at various events together which got everyone questioning their relationship.
The couple has remained tight-lipped regarding their personal lives even after confirming their relationship status.
This has not stopped the rumour mill from speculating their supposed wedding despite Malaika and Arjun denying these claims.
Yet, this did not prevent Malaika from frankly speaking about her ideal wedding.
In a recent interview with Neha Dhupia, on the No Filter Neha show, Malaika disclosed her preferences concerning her dream wedding.
Malaika revealed where she would want to plan her destination wedding. She stated:
“Destination would be a beach destination because I’m a beach girl.”
Malaika went on to discuss who she would wear at her dream wedding. She said:
“I’d say, Eli Saab. Just because I’m all about the white wedding, always liked the whole white wedding and bridesmaids would be my closest girls. My girl gang.”
In particular, she mentioned who her maid of honour would be, saying:
“My closest would be my friend Vahbiz.”
Malaika Arora who rarely talks about her beau Arjun revealed that he is “perfect”, however, he is the worst at handling his finances.
She also revealed that when it comes to who has the best photography skills, Arjun wins. She explained:
“He doesn’t like my pictures because he thinks I do a really crappy job at clicking his pictures.
“I think the thing is I think he just clicks way better pictures of me. So I think whatever pictures I click just kind of fail in comparison.”
Malaika continued to mention how she may have ushered her friends out of her apartment because of the mess created.
She explained how she is a clean freak and it keeps her up at night if something is out of place. She said:
“They can stay for much longer but the minute they leave then I clean up. I can’t sleep if I don’t.”
There is no denying the Wonderwoman that Malaika Arora is from an actress to a loving mother.
During her pregnancy, Malaika continued to work. She stated:
“I worked before, I worked through, I worked right after, exactly after 40 days after … I was up and about and shooting and working.”
It is hard to imagine someone with a stunning figure like Malaika would indulge in food. She confirmed that she is a self-proclaimed foodie:
“I’m a foodie. I can’t help it … I cook, I eat, I love cooking, I love shopping for food.”
As well as her love for food, Malaika Arora is obsessed with white shirts. Her collection of white shirts stands at “40”, with “15” belts, “5” red lipsticks and “10” perfumes.
Alongside all the good things in life, her boyfriend Arjun, her family and comfortable lifestyle, the criticism is never far away.
Trolls are quick to target celebrities over anything. Yet, Malaika declared she does not care about what trolls have to say. She stated:
“Personally, I care a damn. I really, I mean if I have to say as crudely, I care a f***.
“The only thing that comes to mind is that I just feel bad for people out there who talk or behave a certain way … for you to actually sit and belittle somebody or degrade somebody or be nasty.”
She carried on to claim how they are just people behind a screen:
“You’re faceless so you think it’s your birthright. I look at it that way. I feel really bad for them.”
It was a delight to see Malaika Arora get so personal and candid during her interaction with Neha.
Despite there being no confirmation of wedding bells just yet, we hope Malaika’s dream wedding comes true.
