"Malaika and Arjun will walk down the aisle and take their nuptial vows"
Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been rumoured to be in a serious relationship for a while and reports about their wedding have been circulating.
Stories about the impending wedding between Arjun and Malaika have been making headlines but Malaika had rubbished the reports.
She stated: “Oh God! No no. It’s all media made.”
However, a source told DNA that their wedding will be happening in April and it will be a western celebration. Details of the wedding have been kept a secret.
The source said: “Like we all by now, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora are soon going to tie the knot. The date has been locked but kept tightly under wraps.
“Malaika and Arjun will walk down the aisle and take their nuptial vows, in a formal Christian wedding set-up sometime in the first week of April.
The unnamed source explained that their wedding will be a private affair with only close friends and family allowed to attend.
“Arjun and Malaika have told their teams to keep themselves free for the wedding.”
“They want it to be an extremely private affair with only close friends and family, so the hair and make-up artists and other members have been strictly asked not to share any information with anybody.”
The report stated that the couple has asked those to not talk about their impending wedding. They want to maintain their privacy and keep the ceremony an extremely private affair.
Following their wedding, the couple will reportedly host an extravagant wedding reception which will see the stars of Bollywood attend.
Arjun and Malaika made their relationship public in 2018 and have been pictured together on numerous occasions.
They have been spotted visiting each other’s homes and heading on holiday together.
While an official confirmation about the wedding has not been announced, close friends, including Karan Johar, has hinted at the impending wedding.
On an episode of Koffee with Karan featuring Malaika, Karan had implied that the actress will walk down the aisle soon.
In another episode which had Kareena Kapoor Khan as a guest, he quizzed the actress about Arjun and Malaika’s wedding location and whether she will be a bridesmaid.
If the reports are true, then their wedding will be the opposite of other Bollywood weddings as they received huge coverage.
