Malaika Arora Khan and Arjun Kapoor do not seem to be hiding their relationship
Bollywood stars, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan were in their own spotlight as they sat side by side at the Lakme Fashion Week show.
For years, Malaika Arora Khan and Arjun Kapoor are rumoured to be dating. They have kept the media speculating about their ‘close friendship’.
The two have been spotted at each other’s homes in India quite often in the past, however, both have stayed tight-lipped regarding their relationship status.
Now, it looks like Malaika Arora Khan and Arjun Kapoor do not seem to be hiding their relationship as in the past and are being seen together in public more openly.
It was reported that the couple, who have always maintained the ‘good friends’ status, were ensuring that nothing is written about them in the media.
The Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2018 started on the 22nd of August.
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan were spotted on the front row of a show cheering loudly for fellow actor Varun Dhawan as he walked for designer Kunal Rawal.
They were seen chatting and laughing with Arjun’s sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
Malaika was previously married to Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan’s brother, whom she divorced in 2017 after the two had parted ways in early 2016.
The couple has a 16-year-old son together named Arhaan Khan.
Arbaaz Khan is dating Georgia Andriani, who is a professional Italian model and dancer. Media reports say he might be marrying her soon.
When Malaika’s divorce was announced, her close friendship with Arjun Kapoor was rumoured to be one of the factors behind the end of her marriage.
When Mailika was previously questioned on her closeness with Arjun Kapoor she said:
“Arjun is a very good friend of mine. But people give a very different meaning to it, which isn’t true.”
Reports have said that the two being more than friends is out in the open for quite some time.
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan have always maintained a respected silence over their relationship because of her young son.
However, since Malaika’s ex-husband, Arbaaz has made his relationship with Georgia Andriani public, it could be that she might be feeling brave to expose her true feelings about Arjun too.
The Khan family seem to have given Arbaaz and Georgia the green-light as the two are often snapped with Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora also.
Surprisingly, fans have not frowned upon the couple’s 12-year age gap, with Malaika being the older one, especially after Priyanka Chopra’s backlash for her age-difference with Nick Jonas.
Arjun Kapoor has been rumoured to have a very close friendship with Alia Bhatt also, with fans stalking their social media profiles for any sign of a love connection.
However, Alia is currently loved up with Ranbir Kapoor.
On August 28, 2018, Arjun had ‘trolled’ Alia Bhatt on an Instagram picture of her tying rakhi on Karan Johar’s son Yash’s wrist.
Although the actor has a close relationship with his co-stars, his heart seems to belong to Malaika Arora Khan.
With no solid confirmation yet, it is pretty evident that Arjun and Malaika do not seem just ‘close friends’ and not afraid as they once were about their relationship status.
