"I like Arjun, this way or that way."
The rumour mill is busy with news of Bollywood’s Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora possibly tying the knot in April 2019.
Although the couple has not made their relationship ‘official’, it’s pretty clear that the two are an item as they have been recently seen together making appearances in public on dates.
Secret or not the pair have been spotted at nights out, attending parties and events and even going to the movies.
Wedding rumours related to the couple have been hitting headlines recently and the latest is that Arjun and Malaika are to marry in April in a Christian wedding ceremony.
Reports say they have both invested in an apartment together in Mumbai’s upscale Lokhandwala area in Andheri, which will be their marital home.
Social media exchanges between the pair have hinted that the couple is together.
Appearances by both of them on Koffee with Karan season 6 have also left audiences pretty certain that the pair are in a relationship.
When Malaika was asked about Arjun by Karan Johar, she replied: “I like Arjun, this way or that way.” Indicating that he is in her life.
Arjun appeared with his sister Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor on the show and he admitted that he’s not single and is open to getting married. Exciting the audience that Malaika is the women he will be marrying.
Malaika was known as Malaika Arora Khan when she was married to Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz Khan. They separated in March 2016 and subsequently divorced in May 2017. They both share responsibility for the upbringing of their son, Arhaan, together.
Malaika appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio show on Ishq 104.8 FM, where she talked about the divorce and the difficulty in coming to the decision, saying:
“It’s never, ever easy, like no other major decision in your life.”
“At the end of the day, someone has to be blamed. You always have to point fingers at someone.
“I think that’s the general human nature to go about things.”
She added:
“We did think about a lot of things and weighed every single pro and con.
And then we decided, it’s better off that we move our separate ways because we’d just be better people.
Because we were two people in a situation making each other extremely unhappy which was impacting everybody else’s life around us.”
After the divorce, Arbaaz confirmed he is dating the Italian model, Giorgia Andriani and is comfortable with the relationship and is not rushing things and told Times Now:
“Post my divorce, I’ve had a few scenarios and equations with people, I’ve dated women and some look like they would go maybe little longer than they did but they didn’t happen and I don’t want to rush about anything.
“At this point of time yes, I am dating and I don’t know where it’s gonna go but people think they know.”
So, now with Malaika free to make her choices, it’s becoming reportedly clear that Arjun Kapoor is the man she has chosen to be with and shall be marrying in the possible near future.
