"It’s a huge moment for me to represent Bangladesh"
Mumzy Stranger and Muza have made history as their Bengali song ‘Ki Kori’ features on the EA Sports FC 26 soundtrack.
It marks the first time a Bengali song has been included in the soundtrack of the video game series.
The landmark moment gives global recognition to Bengali music on one of the world’s most popular sporting titles.
In a post on Instagram, Mumzy wrote:
“Super gassed to announce my song ‘Ki Kori’ is on the upcoming EA Sports FC 26!
“It’s a huge moment for me to represent Bangladesh and I’m proud to be able to showcase our music on one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world!”
Muza added: “Having the first-ever Bangla song on FC 26 is more than an achievement; it’s a dream come true.
“Growing up playing this game, I never imagined hearing my language represented here.
“To now be part of this milestone is beyond words.
“This is for Bangladesh, proof that no dream is too big. Huge shoutout to Mumzy Stranger and Desi Trill team for making this possible.”
Also featuring Desi Trill, ‘Ki Kori’ blends R&B, South Asian melodies and contemporary sounds to capture the emotional tug-of-war between expressing one’s feelings and the fear of rejection.
Mumzy Stranger is not the only South Asian artist on the soundtrack.
Joy Crookes, who has Bangladeshi heritage, is once again part of the game’s soundtrack with ‘Fade Your Heart’.
The artist’s 2021 track ‘Feet Don’t Fail Me Now’ featured on FIFA 22.
Meanwhile, Raf-Saperra’s ‘Ni Billo’ is another addition.
On Instagram, the British-Punjabi artist said: “Honoured to finally reveal ‘Ni Billo’ is officially on the EA FC 26 soundtrack.
“Had to keep this on the down low for too long.”
Also returning to the series is DJ Sammy Virji, who collaborates with grime artist Skepta on ‘Cops & Robbers’.
EA Sports FC 26 launches September 26, 2025, on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. Its newly revealed soundtrack features 109 songs.
In a statement, Steve Schnur, EA’s president of music, said:
“For more than two decades, EA Sports has shaped global culture by introducing millions of players to new music, artists, and genres.”
“FC 26 is one of the most diverse and bold soundtracks yet, echoing the voice of the FC community through song and culture.”
With ‘Ki Kori’ now reaching millions of gamers worldwide, Mumzy Stranger cements his status as a pioneer for British South Asian artists pushing their music to global audiences.
