"I'm really excited and looking forward to a cutting edge show.”

No year would be complete without the annual Lakmé Fashion Week Winter Festive. It tells you all the right trends, the hot designers to take heed of, and so much more!

This year, the Winter/Festive edition will take place from August 26 to August 30 2015, and looks set to be the most exciting yet.

The fashion platform will give 22 designers the chance to showcase their work on an international level.

And organisers have even made sure that the set is just as tantalising as the event itself. The newly transformed Jabong stage will be within the spacious Pallazio room, and is big enough to sit over 250 guests!

The stage will host a series of seminars, workshops and runway shows throughout the event, and will catapult a new age of fashion and designers into the spotlight, as it did last year.

And as if we weren’t already excited by the fashion event of the year, a handful of designers set to grace this year’s LFW may have just put the cherry on top of the cake.

Grand Curtain Raiser – Hyderabad

To commemorate their 15 year milestone of LFW, a handful of Hyderabad-based designers who are set to grace this year’s LFW, gave a sneak peak of their collections on Wednesday 23rd July!

Anushree Reddy also gave fans a preview of her newest designs of traditional Anarkalis, Sarees, and Bridal Lehegnas.

Explaining her motive for the collection, she stated: “The idea was to craft clothes that are easy to wear.”

As well as those who have previewed their work, who else can we expect to see at this year’s most anticipated fashion show?

Opening and Finale Shows

Well, old and new faces will team up with Lakmé for 2015.

6 new models have recently been announced to join the Lakmé family and have added a fresh new spin to the week’s proceedings.

Veteran fashion designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla will bring their knowledge and expertise as they make their LFW debut, opening the week with their couture collection, Jawani Janeman.

Reinvented stages, new models, veteran designers, and that is all before the week has even begun!
