Mihir had been tormented not just at school but also on the school bus.

The family of the 15-year-old schoolboy who died by suicide in Kochi, Kerala, revealed he faced relentless bullying and humiliation from classmates.

Mihir Ahammed took his own life on January 15, 2025, just an hour after returning from school.

His grieving family has since uncovered horrifying details about the abuse he suffered.

Mihir’s uncle, Musthafa PC, CEO of ID Fresh Foods, shared a heartbreaking Instagram post that detailed the torment his nephew endured.

He revealed that Mihir was subjected to brutal ragging, physical assault, and verbal abuse.

His bullies did not stop even after his death, exchanging messages mocking him.

Screenshots of chats reveal a racial slur and celebrations of his suicide.

The abuse Mihir faced was severe. According to his family, he was beaten, humiliated, and bullied for his dark complexion.

On his last day at school, he was forcibly taken to the washroom.

There, he was allegedly made to lick a toilet seat and had his head pushed into the toilet as it was flushed.

Mihir’s mother, Rajna PM, has accused the school of suppressing the truth to protect its reputation.

She and her husband started gathering evidence after their son’s death, speaking to his friends and reviewing social media messages.

They discovered that Mihir had been tormented not just at school but also on the school bus.

Rajna claimed that when she approached the school authorities with evidence, they merely stated that the information had been forwarded to the police.

She believes they are covering up the incident to avoid negative publicity.

She has reached out to Kerala’s Chief Minister and the state police chief, demanding an immediate and impartial investigation.

The family’s fears extend to the potential destruction of digital evidence.

Mihir’s friends had created an Instagram page titled “Justice for Mihir” to raise awareness.

However, the page was deleted under suspicious circumstances.

Some reports suggest the school is intimidating students to suppress the truth.

The Kerala government has taken notice of the tragedy. Education Minister V Sivankutty has ordered an inquiry.

The Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has also intervened.

The commission’s chairman confirmed that the case is under review.

Mihir’s uncle has called for justice, urging authorities to ensure those responsible face the full force of the law.

He emphasised the need for systemic changes to prevent such tragedies.

The grieving family continues to demand accountability for Mihir’s death, vowing to fight until justice is served.
