"He did not perform and has not responded"

A case has been filed against Kapil Sharma for allegedly breaching his contract during his tour of North America in 2015.

According to reports, Sai USA Inc filed the lawsuit against the comedian.

It is alleged that during his tour in 2015, Kapil was paid for six shows but only performed five of them.

The lawsuit stated that Kapil would pay for the loss.

Sai USA Inc is based in New Jersey and is led by Amit Jaitly.

Mr Jaitly claimed that Kapil had committed to paying back the loss.

He said: “He did not perform and has not responded although we tried several times to get in touch with him before the court.”

According to the report, the case is pending in a New York court.

Sai USA Inc will “definitely be taking legal action against him”.

Kapil Sharma is currently on a tour of North America with The Kapil Sharma Show team for ‘Kapil Sharma Live’

Kapil, along with Sumona Chakravarti, Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and Krushna Abhishek, has performed in Vancouver and Toronto.

The comedian had gone viral for his tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala during his Vancouver show.

In a viral video, Kapil sang his rendition of Sidhu’s track ‘295’, prompting huge cheers from the crowd.

He continued singing the song while pictures of Sidhu, Deep Sidhu, KK and kabaddi player Sandeep Singh Sandhu were shown on a screen.

Kapil’s performance acted as his way of paying his respects to the four men, all of who passed away in 2022.

Above their pictures were the words: “Tribute to legends.”

Kapil has been sharing pictures and videos on Instagram, giving his fans glimpses from his tour.

He recently posted a video where he showed off his English skills and joked that his team member didn’t know the language.

Kapil posted the video with the caption:
