“Why are they after our Salman?"
A 21-year-old man named Uzair Faiz Moiyuddin was recently arrested by Bandra Police for allegedly breaching Salman Khan’s convoy.
Reports claim that the accused was attempting to get too close to his vehicle.
The incident occurred around 12:15 am on September 18, 2024, as Salman Khan was en route to his home at Galaxy Apartments.
Reports indicate that Moiyuddin sped on his motorcycle, strategically avoiding other vehicles.
This was apparently to approach Salman’s car as the convoy passed Mehboob Studios.
Despite several warnings from the actor’s security, he continued to pursue the convoy closely.
After the incident, Salman’s security team alerted local authorities.
This led to Moiyuddin’s apprehension near the Dabangg star’s residence.
The police seized the motorcycle and charged Moiyuddin with endangering the lives of Salman Khan and his security convoy.
An FIR was filed, citing sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to endangering personal safety and rash driving.
Following an investigation, police concluded that Moiyuddin did not realise he was tailing Salman Khan’s convoy.
Upon determining that there were no grounds for further suspicion, authorities released him.
This incident came at a particularly tense time for Salman, who has been making headlines for receiving death threats.
Earlier in April 2024, gunshots were reportedly fired outside his residence, an act many linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
These ongoing threats have raised significant concerns among fans of Salman who were worried for the star’s safety.
A fan questioned: “Why are they after our Salman? They will get caught.”
Another said: “One day, there will be a news announcement saying someone killed Lawrence Bishnoi in jail.
“When that happens, don’t be surprised.”
A third person said: “If something happens to Salman and his family, I will never vote BJP for Government.”
On September 19, 2024, an unsettling encounter involving Salman’s father – the veteran writer Salim Khan – took place.
During a morning walk, Salim was approached by a man and a burqa-clad woman who attempted to intimidate him by invoking the name of Bishnoi.
The woman reportedly asked: “Should I send Lawrence Bishnoi?”
This led to the arrest of the suspects, who claimed they were merely “having fun” during police questioning.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is currently working on Sikandar directed by AR Murugadoss.
The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and is scheduled to be released in 2025.
