Kangana Ranaut has weighed in on the new verification model that will be used in Meta Verified and was seemingly against it, slamming Mark Zuckerberg.
The outspoken actress took to Twitter to respond to a user, who said she was right when she predicted the new verification model that will be used in the future.
Kangana responded to Mark Zuckerberg’s announcement of Meta Verified, a subscription-based service that can help Facebook users get a blue tick.
Mark Zuckerberg wrote: “Good morning and new product announcement: this week we’re starting to roll out Meta Verified – a subscription service that lets you verify your account with a government ID, get a blue badge, get extra impersonation protection against accounts claiming to be you, and get direct access to customer support.
“This new feature is about increasing authenticity and security across our services. Meta Verified starts at $11.99 / month on web or $14.99 / month on iOS. We’ll be rolling out in Australia and New Zealand this week and more countries soon.”
Following the announcement, one user shared a screenshot and wrote:
“Mark verifying with Government id!!! Kangana said the same earlier!! Her X-rays are real!!! She is always ahead!!”
The actress came across the tweet and accused Mark Zuckerberg of copying Twitter boss Elon Musk.
Kangana wrote: “Ha ha Elon Musk fought with the whole world to do this, media criticised him and people threatened to leave Twitter.
“He hasn’t even rolled out all features and his ideas are such a big hit that people already hijacked his ideas and are copying them.
“The biggest drawback of being a genius.”

Many social media users agreed with Kangana.
One said: “Ya everyone went after him !! First they mocked him, now they are copying and at the end, he wins!!”
Another wrote: “Cos others don’t have brains… the least they can do is copy.”
A third commented: “Correct. Elon Musk is the biggest technocrat and genius of this era which is why he’s been an inspiration to the youth across the world.

On the work front, Kangana was last seen in Dhakkad, which failed at the box office.
She recently completed the production of Emergency, where she will play the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
The film also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik and Shreyas Talpade.
It is expected to be released on October 20, 2023.
