"He should get me a job in Bollywood."

Hollywood star Jason Momoa has been effusively praising his Street Fighter co-star, Indian actor Vidyut Jammwal, in the most flattering terms possible.

The Aquaman star called Vidyut “one of the most beautiful men” he has ever seen in his entire life.

Jason spoke extensively about working with Vidyut during an interview, in which he was asked about their on-set collaboration.

The star replied: “He’s one of the most beautiful-looking men I’ve ever seen in my life. He’s so talented. He’s unbelievable.”

His praise for Vidyut’s acting abilities and overall talent was genuine and unreserved, reflecting a real appreciation for his co-star.

Jason then jokingly remarked that Vidyut should help him break into Indian cinema and secure a role in a Bollywood film.

“He should get me a job in Bollywood. He should have something set up for me.

“We should do something together. It’d be fun.

“And I said it, and I’m sticking with it. I can’t wait to come (to India) one day.”

His comments reflected a genuine interest in exploring opportunities in Indian cinema alongside his Hollywood commitments.

Street Fighter will mark Vidyut’s debut in Hollywood, positioning him on a global stage and in international film production.

In the official trailer for the film, Vidyut is introduced as Dhalsim, the iconic character from the video game.

Vidyut has received considerable praise for his transformation into the character, appearing completely unrecognisable to audiences.

He is seen sporting a completely clean-shaven head that is marked with bold red stripes across the scalp.

His lean, muscular frame is accentuated by rustic, tattered orange drapes that lend the character an authentic appearance.

Heavy metal bangles and tribal-inspired accessories enhance Dhalsim’s fierce and distinctly mystical aura throughout the film’s visuals.

The overall presentation creates a look that is both striking and deeply rooted in the character’s spiritual and mystical origins.

Vidyut’s physical transformation and commitment to the role have already impressed both filmmakers and audiences who have seen early footage.

The new Street Fighter film is set in 1993, grounding the story in a specific historical period.

The film is helmed by director Kitao Sakurai from a screenplay written by Dalan Musson.

Legendary Entertainment co-produced the project alongside Japanese video game developer Capcom.

Paramount Pictures is handling the worldwide distribution of the film for theatrical release.

The film is slated to release on the big screen on October 16, 2026, positioning it as a major entertainment release.
