Is Harshvardhan Rane dating Sanjeeda Shaikh?

Harshvardhan Rane has addressed the rumours that he is dating Sanjeeda Shaikh.

Speculation was fuelled after Harshvardhan posted pictures of his trip to Gir National Park in Gujarat.

Suggesting that the rumours are untrue, Harshvardhan said:

“It does not bother me because it is the job of journalists to write and they also have a weekly deadline and daily quota or target of stories to submit.

“I see them as humans who are trying to do a job, just like my job is to be in films.

“I respect my journey and effort too much and hence, I respect their process too.

“They can write anything about me. I would still hug them when I see them.”

The actor also had a minor issue with Google providing incorrect information about his height.

He said: “Google says that I am 5’9’’ whereas I am actually six feet tall. I have never tried to clarify.”

Harshvardhan added that he likes it when people see him in real life and are stunned by how tall he really is.

In June 2023, Harshvardhan Rane shared pictures of his trip to Gir National Park, sitting in a safari vehicle.

But fans wondered if he was on holiday with Sanjeeda because her post showed her and her daughter also sitting in a safari vehicle.

There was speculation that Sanjeeda was sitting opposite Harshvardhan.

Sanjeeda had been married to Aamir Ali since 2012 and they had a daughter together, named Ayra.

They separated in 2020 and were granted divorce in 2021, with Sanjeeda granted custody of their daughter.

Despite the current rumours that Harshvardhan and Sanjeeda are dating, rumours first arose shortly after the latter’s divorce.

Some pointed out that Harshvardhan and Sanjeeda starred together in the 2020 film Taish.

Theories began to arise that they might have fallen in love whilst working on the film.

Responding to the rumours, Sanjeeda previously said:

“I think as an actor, we are so used to it. It leaves no expression on the face when you read something like that or when you hear this.

“I have understood that two people working together, people will talk.

“I work with my next actor and people will talk.

“So it is never going to stop, it will keep going. It is okay, let them talk. I have no problem with that.”

“But at the end of the day if you take notice of my work and like my acting, I am okay with it. You can speak whatever you want, it should not affect my work.”

Speaking about Harshvardhan, she added:

“Everything worked for me during Taish. People spoke but then forgot about it because the focus was my performance.

“He is a great friend and he is a brilliant actor and human being.

“During Taish, we did not get too much time to spend and talk because the characters were intense so half the time we would be just in that.

“But in Kun Faya Kun I got to spend time with him and I am glad I got to work with him.”
