An Instagram user shared her opinion about recent Bollywood weddings, claiming that they lack excitement or any variation.
Zee Aly, who has over 300,000 followers, posted the video after Parineeti Chopra got married to AAP leader Raghav Chadha in Udaipur.
In the video, Zee mentions various paneer dishes while pictures of various Bollywood weddings appear on-screen.
The celebrities include Parineeti, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Her reference to paneer was made to imply that each wedding had a slight variation but was ultimately the same.
Zee mentioned that the weddings appeared to follow a similar colour palette, typically white or off-white.
She also stated that the celebrities even post similar wedding pictures, suggesting they follow a template.
Zee said pictures always include one by the mandap, one of the bride and groom looking into each other’s eyes, another one where they laugh and one where the groom kisses the bride.
The content creator added: “Every bride looks the same now.”
Seemingly mocking the Bollywood stars, Zee said:
“Let’s just do the same thing, unite together Bollywood. Uniqueness is boring for us.”
She then urged for red to be brought back.

The video received over one million likes and many users agreed with Zee’s comments, with some claiming that other celebrities copied Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.
One person said: “Virat and Anushka are the most original.”
Another said: “Everyone copied Anushka and Virat.”
Some pointed out that Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were the last Bollywood actresses to wear red for their wedding, with one writing:
“Katrina, Deepika, Priyanka Chopra were the brides to wear red and brides look beautiful in red more than white.”
One comment read: “Katrina and Deepika had different trends.”
However, some criticised Zee for making the video, with one user saying that it is the bride and groom’s choice.
The user asked: “Have you thought about the fact that their wedding is not for your entertainment and they can wear what they want?”
Another said:
“They’re wearing something which they like, it’s their own freaking marriage, let them do and wear what they want.”
A third accused Zee of making fun of the weddings, writing:
“It’s not funny at all. At least stop making fun of someone’s special day.
“It’s their choice however they want to pose or however they want to dress.
“Look at you trying to be famous by making fun of these people.
“You know you have the option to ignore if you don’t like it but its not cool making fun of someone’s special day.
“Just because they are famous does not give you the right to mock them or their special moments. Grow up and try something good and original.”
