An Indian man is going viral for his unique dating approach at Ed Sheeran’s concert.
The British singer performed at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course grounds on March 16, 2024, having enjoyed a few days in the country.
Ed’s concert was a memorable one as he invited Diljit Dosanjh on stage and the pair sang in Punjabi.
The concert continues to be talked about and one concertgoer has gone viral for his innovative way of finding a girlfriend.
X user Shweta Kukreja shared a photo of the young man.
For the concert, the singleton had been wearing a white T-shirt. But on the back was a QR code along with the words:
“For single people only.”
Curious to know what the QR code led to, Shweta scanned it and it took her to the man’s Tinder profile.
It revealed that his name was Hardik, a 22-year-old Delhi University student who lives in Mumbai.
Along with his height, Hardik’s profile read:
“Look who finally found me.
“Yes, I am the guy you spotted at the concert with a scanner on his tee. Grabbing ice cream together sounds like a perfect first date, [what do you think?].”
However, the bio hinted that it was a promotional stunt as it ended:
“Tinder partner. This profile is for promotional purposes.”

Regardless of its authenticity, many social media users praised the innovative approach to finding a date.
One user said: “You think you have seen all possible ways to get a date and there is this bro.. totally acing the game.”
Another quipped: “Even AI will be scared of this guy’s dating game.”
A comment read: “Bro found the perfect way to pick a girl from concerts.”
A user praised: “Bro literally took the dating game 20 years ahead.”
The unique approach even led some women to scan the QR code, with one writing:
“His creativity shows he will be the perfect partner for me (I’m going to scan this QR).”
Another young lady posted: “Imagine if he’s trying so hard to find a date, how much harder he’ll work to take care of her!!”
Internet sleuths continued to investigate further to find out who Hardik was.
One person appeared to find his Instagram page, which revealed that his name is Hardik Aneja.
Another supposedly confirmed that he is the viral singleton, commenting under a post:
“Yes, he is the one who wore a T-shirt with a QR code that links to his Tinder profile in the Ed Sheeran concert.”
