The stunning actress set the fashion tone for the upcoming festive season, transforming into an ethereal Indian princess in exquisite lehenga attire.
Complemented by traditional Indian jewellery and flawless make-up, she left her fans swooning.
On September 14, 2023, the actress gave her fans a sweet surprise as she took to Instagram to upload a series of pictures accompanied by the caption, “Dreams are made of these.”
Huma rocked the ramp in a majestic champagne gold bridal lehenga that was adorned in sequin, bugle beads, and dabka work, giving off a modern yet traditional bridal vibe.
Huma’s exquisite look in the heavy, floral lehenga was completed with a sheer, embroidered dupatta styled as a veil on her head.
Her lavish garment was covered in an exquisite symphony of tone-on-tone floral motifs in different designs, showcasing designer Varun Bahl’s floral flair.
For accessories, Huma opted for traditional Indian jewellery, including a heavy diamond-studded necklace, matching earrings and a stone-studded headband.
For her glam make-up look, Huma got decked up in shimmery eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, contoured cheeks and a shade of nude lipstick.
With her luscious locks pulled back into a retro bun, Huma Qureshi completed her look.
Hosted by Varun Bahl, this event was a collaborative effort with the Federation of India Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) Women’s Wing.
In this captivating showcase, nearly 75 models, both male and female, including local talents, graced the runway for hours, enchanting the audience with Varun Bahl’s exquisite creations.
The event’s goal was to promote the designs of the maestro and underscore the beauty of Kashmir.
Such gatherings possess the potential to significantly bolster tourism in the region, thus contributing to the economic growth of Jammu and Kashmir.
During his address at the event, Varun emphasised the historical association of Bollywood with Kashmir, asserting that the valley was once used as a backdrop.
He went on to predict that grand events like these would entice more Bollywood film crews to choose this paradise for their shoots.
