How is Amitabh Bachchan Coping during ‘these Times of Trial’?

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has updated his fans about his health and has also revealed how he is coping during ‘these times of trial’.

The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan has expressed his gratitude to fans as he receives treatment for Covid-19.

Currently, the legendary actor is being treated for the virus at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Taking to Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan sincerely thanked his fans for their well wishes.

Sharing a picture of himself, he wrote:

“T 3600 – In these times of trial .. the entire day is filled with your love and care .. and I can only express what best I can from here .. my immense gratitude.”

Big B, who was hospitalised with his son, Abhishek Bachchan on Saturday, 10 July 2020, earlier tweeted:

“It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me.

“I put my hands together and say .. Thank you for your eternal love and affection.”

Shortly after Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were taken to hospital for treatment, Aishwarya Rai and her daughter, Aaradhya also tested positive for the virus.

They too were taken Nanavati Hospital after suffering from breathlessness while self-quarantining at home.

The four Bachchan bungalows – Janak, Jalsa, Vatsa and Pratiksha – were declared containment zones.

They were also sanitised by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. Their staff members tested negative for the coronavirus.

Earlier, Suresh Kakani, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation commissioner said:

“Total of 16 people from the family have been tested including guards and maids. Other reports will come tomorrow.

“As Aishwarya and Aaradhya are both asymptomatic, BMC will take a written declaration from them if they want to take treatment at home. Or else, they will also be shifted to the hospital.”

Speaking to PTI, a hospital insider revealed that the Bachchans are being kept in the isolation ward. The source explained:

“They all are okay. They are responding well to the treatment. They are in the isolation ward.

“Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will be in the hospital maybe for a day or two.”

The hospital insider further added that Aishwarya and Aaradhya will remain in hospital:

“Aishwarya had a cough. She is okay now. Aishwarya and Aaradhya will have to be in the hospital for a couple of days.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s fans in Kolkata and Ujjain held ‘mahamrityunjaya yagnas’ for the betterment of the star as well as his family.
