"Fashion plays a big part in our mental health."
The spectacular fashion show, House of iKons is back once again but this time with a twist. The organisers bring you the latest in fashion with their Digital Show in September 2020 during Fashion Week London.
Founded by Savita Kaye, established under Lady K Production, House of iKons promotes diversity in fashion while diminishing stereotypes.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, House of iKons will be showcasing the fantastic fashion show on digital platforms.
Understandably, many LIVE fashion shows have been affected because audiences, press and buyers cannot be in attendance.
However, House of iKons Digital Show 2020 will allow designers to show their creations on digital platforms. The London Digital Show will be presented on September 19, 2020.
House of iKons is an established and prestigious fashion show. Their designers have travelled worldwide and worked with stars like JLo, Katy Perry, Michelle Obama and Beyonce to name a few.
House of iKons has continued to raise the bar. In September 2016, they dedicated their show to the tragic demise of Prince.
In fact, Prince’s Tribute Team also flew in to witness the magnificent show.
Later in 2018, House of iKons presented ‘Robots on the Runaway’ by Honee. Needless to say, the show garnered immense attention globally.
It was watched by more than 350 million viewers via BBC World and BBC Minute. Not only that but in February 2020, House of iKons made history with their collaboration with China.
A staggering fourty-two designers from across the world were under one roof exhibiting their creations.
Placing importance on diversity in fashion, CEO, Savita Kaye says:
“Pushing diversity in ever way from ethnic backgrounds, size, shape, height and age.
“We will continue each season highlighting beauty and creativity not just in design and music but for all regardless of colour, ethnicity, size, shape and sexual orientation; as everyone has the right to feel and look good, feel confident about who they are in the here and now!
“Everyone has that right and we will continue to push boundaries and stereotypes.”
As a crucial media partner, DESIblitz presents the prestigious event and designers who will showcase their creations.
iKonic Digital Show
The Digital Show will be the first of its kind for House of iKons. However, it brings with it a sense of excitement and adventure.
The coronavirus pandemic has changed the landscape for several businesses and fashion is no different.
For the House of iKons September 2020 Digital Show, the theme will be ‘an intimate insight into the world of our iKons.’
This will allow global audiences intimate access into the world of designers to show how their visions come into existence.
Focusing on the ‘labour of love’, Savita Kaye wants to take audiences behind the scenes allowing them into the creative world of designers.
Undoubtedly, this will strengthen the bond between creatives and audiences. Speaking about the upcoming show, Savita Kaye explains:
“All industries are going through major changes, restructures. Consumers may not have the high disposable incomes that they are used too, to purchase high-end designer brands (as the big brands are feeling the pinch too!)
“But one thing I do know, people around the world still want to look good in what they wear.
“I have stated this time and time again, that fashion plays a big part in our mental health.
“If we look good, we feel good. Our confidence increases and there is a positive impact in our personal and professional lives.
“I truly believe that the silver lining from this pandemic is that the emerging creatives will do well.”
“As consumers will still want to buy beautiful fashionable pieces, which are sustainable, unique and affordable.
“Its time for our iKons to be noticed and start taking over the market. They will become profitable and established businesses.”
The vast list of designers who will be presenting their creations in the Digital Show will also be exhibiting their outfits at the Live shows in 2021.
As well as helping new creatives gain wider recognition, House of iKons will also be inviting back previous designers to discuss their successful journeys.
Meanwhile, TV personality and host Jonny Pach will be presenting the highly-anticipated Digital Show.
The Digital Show will also have presentations from the House of iKons Team, Hair & Makeup, Models, Photographers and Sponsors.
