The list of the Top 20 Most Desirable Women on TV has been released and Hina Khan has ended up taking the number one spot.

Hina Khan has been named the ‘Most Desirable Woman’ on TV.

The prestigious list takes into account the actresses’ popularity and votes they received.

These actresses have wowed audiences on their respective Hindi TV shows and actress Hina Khan has topped the list for the second year in a row.

Also on the list is the stunning Jennifer Winget as well as reality show contestants like Shehnaz Gill, Himanshi Khurana and Miesha Iyer.

Hina Khan is known for playing Akshara in the long-running TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where she won numerous acting awards.

She went on to portray the antagonist Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Sharing her excitement at being at the number one spot, Hina said:

“TV has given me everything that I wanted and more. I have a lot of respect for the medium and all my contemporaries.

“I must say that the title of the most desirable woman on TV is quite intriguing, and I accept it with a lot of love. It’s like being called the most-dreamed-about girl (laughs!), who wouldn’t like that?”

She went on to say that her desirability comes down to a mix of being genuine, probable, sexy and dreamy in her roles.

“I think what connects me to my audience is the way I portray each character that I play.

“Mostly, these roles are very different from who I am, but I try to bring in the real me in them as well.

“Also, I put in a lot of effort in the way my character appears, the mix of real, probable, sexy and dreamy, and I think that makes me desirable.”

While Hina is best known for her TV roles, she is no stranger to reality TV. The actress was a contestant on Bigg Boss 11 where she finished runner-up.

Hina Khan’s acting talents have also seen her in film roles. She made her Bollywood debut in 2020 in Vikram Bhatt’s Hacked.

She was also in the Indo-Hollywood film Country of Blind which was based on the book, The Country of the Blind (1904) by HG Wells.

The film was set during the 18th century. The story was about visionless valley residents who are content with life, despite no affinity with the world outside.

Belonging to the valley, Hina played the lead role of a woman who cannot see.

Her acting successes even saw Hina make her debut at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival where she was seen in a classy all-pink outfit.

She wore a pastel pink trouser and blazer combo and paired it with a pale pink blouse. Hina completed her outfit with a pair of subtle beige pumps. Hina also wore her hair in loose curls as she gave interviews during her time in France.

Hina Khan was named the ‘Most Desirable Woman on TV’ but Priyanka Chopra Jonas is who she thinks is the most desirable.

“For me, the most desirable woman is Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

“She inspires me, and I am sure, millions get inspiration from her in ways that even she wouldn’t know.”

On who she thinks is the most desirable man, Hina added:

“As far as the most desirable man is concerned, I really like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his subtlety, calm persona, and charisma. He is just perfect.”

The second spot was taken by Jennifer Winget. Also on the list were Nia Sharma, Erica Fernandes, Karishma Tanna, Divya Agarwal, Shivangi Joshi, Surbhi Joshi, Miesha Iyer, Nimrit Kaur, Himanshi Khurana, Jasmin Bhasin, Shehnaz Gill, Nyra Banerjee, Krystle D’souza, Ridhima Pandit, Priyamvada Kant, Shraddha Arya, Tinaa Dataa and Shrenu Parikh.
