Rumours of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s marriage have escalated after a purported wedding invitation was leaked.
There is speculation that the pair are set to get married on June 23, 2024, with Times Now previously reporting that the wedding is likely to take place at a “SoBo hotspot”.
Ahead of the rumoured wedding, a digital invitation has circulated online.
The invitation, which can be unlocked through a QR code, plays an audio message from the rumoured couple.
Styled like a magazine cover, the headline reads:
“We’re making it official (finally).”
Additional text reads: “The rumours were true so come celebrate with us at Bastian At the Top on 23rd June 2024, 8:00 pm onwards.”
The invitation also featured a photo of Sonakshi and Zaheer in a snowy location, with the latter planting a kiss on the actress’ cheek.
According to the invite, the couple has jokingly asked guests to avoid wearing red and opt for “formal and festive”.
In the audio message, Sonakshi and Zaheer share their excitement about taking their seven-year relationship to the next stage.
They are heard saying: “To all our hip, tech-savvy, and jasoos (detective) friends and family who have managed to land on this page, hi!
“For the last seven years that we have been together, all the joy, love, laughter, and many, many adventures have led us to this very moment.
“The moment where we go from being each other’s rumoured girlfriend and boyfriend to being each other’s definite and official husband and wife.
“Finally! This celebration will not be complete without you so drop whatever you’re doing on the 23rd of June and come party with us.

The leaked invitation sparked a mixed reaction on social media.
Some fans were excited, with one writing:
“That is an adorable invitation, congrats.”
Eager to see her wedding outfits, another commented:
“Sonakshi is so beautiful, I can’t wait to see her outfits.”
However, others were concerned over the location being shared.
“Just realised it says the location and time, hope people don’t congregate there. Bastian is a restaurant, right?”
Another was angry that a guest had leaked the invitation.

A source told Indian Express that the couple might opt for a registry marriage and host a post-wedding party at Bastian.
Despite the invitation leak, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have not gone public with the news.
Sonakshi previously addressed the rumours and said:
“Firstly, it’s nobody’s business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don’t know why people are so concerned about it.
“People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny.
“Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?”
