“Seriously, even now she's thinking about her account?”

Hania Aamir has warned her followers about fake accounts impersonating her online.

In an Instagram story, the star clarified that she only has one Instagram account, @haniaheheofficial.

She stated: “This is the only account I have on Instagram.

“In case anyone is getting any requests from other accounts posing as me, please report them. Thank you.”

However, the statement quickly drew attention for reasons beyond digital impersonation.

Netizens questioned her connection to a now-deactivated account, @naaamtousunahogaa, which Hania had previously followed.

The account had featured several posts centred around the actress.

This sparked speculation that it may have been operated by her or someone from her team.

One user asked: “Then why did she follow the account and deactivate it?”

Criticism wasn’t limited to the identity issue. Many took offence to the timing of her announcement.

They argued that her focus on social media activity was tone-deaf given the country’s ongoing crisis.

One frustrated user wrote: “There are more important things in the world, Miss Hania.”

Another added: “Seriously, even now she’s thinking about her account?”

This isn’t the first time Hania has been forced to respond to misinformation online.

Just days earlier, she publicly refuted a viral post that falsely attributed a political statement to her.

The fake message, circulated widely on Instagram and X, claimed she had blamed the Pakistan Army for the deadly attack in Pahalgam.

In the message, she had appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to show restraint.

The fabricated post, made to resemble one of her Instagram Stories, accused Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir of orchestrating the violence.

It suggested the Indian government should differentiate between the military and ordinary citizens.

Addressing this, Hania issued a clear denial: “Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media.

“I want to address this directly: I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me.”

“It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe.”

Despite the surrounding noise, Hania also joined other public figures in condemning the attack and offering condolences to those affected.

She said: “In times like these, it’s easy to let emotions cloud our judgment.”

In her statement, she urged empathy and calm.

While Hania Aamir continues to push back against impersonation and false narratives, her online presence remains under close scrutiny.
