Aima Baig took to Instagram to warn her fans about a fake Snapchat account operating under her name.
The singer shared a screenshot of the fake account on her Instagram Stories.
She expressed her surprise that people could mistake the unverified account for hers.
Aima clarified her stance on Snapchat, labelling it an inappropriate app.
She confirmed that she does not, and will not, have an account on the platform.
Aima emphasised to her followers the importance of relying only on her verified Instagram handle for authentic updates.
She wrote: “One thing about me everybody – I never ever ever had a Snapchat, neither am I planning on having one.
“That’s a shady place for most of the shadiest people – no offence to anyone who’s using the app but nope, it ain’t me. And it’s as simple as that.”
Aima warned against falling for scams perpetrated through the fake Snapchat account.
She continued: “You wanna order a bag or expensive s**t under my name – go ahead do whatever but I’m just shocked at how people are buying into this fake profile s**t – there’s no verification tick and no info on these fake accounts.”
Aima Baig urged her fans to heed her warnings and avoid being deceived by the impersonating account, adding:
“How blind does one have to be – to be able to trust some rando account claiming to be me when they have absolutely no evidence or legitimacy that it really is me?
“Now, to save you all from any fraud in future or in process… just read my story before you get scammed by someone totally fake.”

The rise of fake accounts on social media platforms has become a significant issue.
Many public figures find their names and images being used without their consent.
These accounts not only mislead fans but also often engage in fraudulent activities.
Despite Aima Baig’s warning, many criticised her opinion of Snapchat.
