Feroze Khan has said that he is facing serious eye problems after repeatedly using Vicks to produce tears for acting scenes.
The actor explained that the damage has left him extremely sensitive to light.

Vicks, a mentholated ointment meant for cough and cold relief, can cause significant harm when used near the eyes.
Its vapours and cooling agents often produce burning sensations, redness, and in severe cases, lasting damage to the cornea or vision.

Feroze admitted that years of using the ointment for performances have resulted in constant irritation and difficulty tolerating even dim light.
He said: “I’ve ruined my eyes by constantly applying Vicks to produce tears while acting.
“Now, even a little bit of light feels like a knife in my eyes.”
