“I'm not sure why they did that"

Fahad Sheikh recently appeared on Green Entertainment’s Ramadan transmission and shed light on an incident of injustice he experienced during the production of Jalan.

Fahad shared that his image was inexplicably removed from the promotional poster following the airing of the first episode.

This was despite his significant contribution to the series and the success garnered by his character.

Reflecting on this incident, Fahad expressed his confusion and disappointment, stating:

“My picture was on the first episode’s poster, but then they removed it the next episode.

“I’m not sure why they did that, but my character ended up being really successful, and fans liked it a lot.

“I think in the end, Allah always makes things fair.”

He had a sense of resilience and faith in the face of adversity, highlighting his unwavering belief in divine justice.

Adding further insight to the discussion, fellow guest Zoya Nasir had her own opinions to add.

She explained that such decisions, like the removal of pictures from posters, are often influenced by the demands of the channel or production team.

Fahad also shed light on the broader issue of representation and recognition within the industry.

He prompted reflection on the importance of fair treatment and acknowledgement of talent.

The removal of Fahad Sheikh’s picture from posters further fuelled discussions about visibility and appreciation for artists’ contributions.

His fans were not happy about it.

A user wrote: “I noticed this when the drama was airing. This is so unfair to him.

“But he didn’t need his face to be on the poster to receive all the love he did from fans.”

Another added: “It’s okay Fahad, Jalan is known because of you.”

One said: “The entertainment industry has no morals and values.

“He was a rising star back then; it would not have hurt them to keep him on the poster.”
