Why was Dur-e-Fishan hesitant to Shoot a Certain scene in Khaie?

Uzma Hassan, a key member of the Khaie cast, appeared on Haute Talk and shared insights about her experience on set.

During the interview, she revealed behind-the-scenes details about a particularly challenging scene involving Dur-e-Fishan Saleem.

In the scene, Dur-e-Fishan had to throw Khalid Butt down from his bed and put her foot on his neck.

Uzma Hassan recalled: “During the iconic death scene of Khalid Butt with Dur-e-Fishan, I wasn’t present on set.

“However, I remember discussing it with Dur-e-Fishan.

“She expressed reluctance about the scene due to Khalid Butt’s seniority and declining health.”

Additionally, Uzma reflected on the dedication displayed by the legend Khalid Butt.

She said: “Initially hesitant out of respect for him, Dur-e-Fishan was encouraged by Khalid Butt to perform the scene fearlessly, as required.

“He insisted to not hold back.”

Uzma offered a deeper glimpse into the professionalism of the cast members involved in Khaie.

Despite the challenges and the emotional weight of the scene, the actors remained committed to delivering authentic performances that resonated with viewers.
