Faysal Quraishi trolled for his Makeup in 'Khaie' f

“Why has he done so much makeup? He looks so awkward.”

Drama serial Khaie, starring Faysal Quraishi and Dur-e-Fishan Saleem has been trending lately.

This fresh on-screen duo is dazzling fans with their talent. The story being an emotional rollercoaster adds to the thrill.

However, viewers have a lot to say about Faysal Quraishi’s makeover in this drama serial.

It appears that he has put on many layers of makeup in an attempt to intensify his look.

However, people are claiming that it was more than necessary.

They are branding him as ‘Makeup ki dukaan’ (Shop of makeup).

One Instagram user commented: “Forget the plot. Focus on the contour. Faysal Quraishi’s glam in Khaie has its own script.”

Another said: “Why has he done so much makeup? He looks so awkward.”

One pointed out: “The car scene where he takes his glasses off.

“Notice that there is a mark on his nose where the glasses were because he has done sooo much makeup.”

Another asked: “He is a good actor but why did they do so much makeup on him???”

Many also think that so much makeup wasn’t even a requirement of the scene. They compared him to the rest of the actors in the drama.

One person said: “There are ten people in this frame. And one of them has piled so much makeup on his face while the rest are casual. It looks terrible.”

Another wrote: “This is a Pakhtoon character. Not a university boy. So much makeup on a pathan’s face is so out of character.”

One remarked: “It wouldn’t be a problem if makeup was the demand of the character but it certainly wasn’t here.”

A lot of users think that putting so much on his face was an attempt to make him look ‘fair’.

They claim they were trying to make the actor look more Pashtun considering pathans are fair-skinned.

One netizen commented: “Just doing a makeover is not enough.

“Maybe you should have casted people who actually belong from that area. It would have looked more realistic.”

Another said: “He doesn’t even have the accent or dialect of a pathan.”

One wrote: “Maybe you shouldn’t have casted an old actor to play the character of a young one. He looks like a freak with all that makeup.”

Even with Khaie receiving critique for its makeup and casting, it continues its stellar performance.

It is currently at the top of the rating charts.
