The Main Abdul Qadir star took to his Instagram Story and wrote:

“While helping the poor, leave the cameras at home.”

His statement instantly went viral as it was shared with his 2.7 million Instagram followers.

Fahad garnered widespread criticism with his latest statement.

Netizens called Fahad a “hypocrite” and said he fails to practice what he preaches.

One Instagram user said: “What’s wrong in recording this thing?

“What if by seeing this kind of video someone could get inspired?”

A second user said: “Look who’s talking.”

A third stated: “The thought is good but the person preaching the thought is wrong.”

Another user said: “What about Jeeto Pakistan??”

Fahad is the host of Jeeto Pakistan, a gameshow where Fahad seemingly humiliates people before distributing gifts.

The show offers contestants prizes in return for completing challenges and tasks given by the host.

The prizes offered range from cars and motorcycles to gold, holiday packages and household items.

Jeeto Pakistan is one of the most popular shows in Pakistan as it appeals to a diverse audience.

Fahad has been known to be unwaveringly controversial.

In June 2021, a reporter accidentally called Fahad “Fawad” at a press conference.

Fahad and the news reporter sarcastically talked to each other before the actor demanded that the reporter’s mic be turned off.

Despite his large following on Twitter and Instagram, the actor has claimed he is not a fan of social media.

Fahad said: “I know I am a big star and I have 1.5 million followers on social media but I also know that only 25 people on my Twitter are actually active; the rest I have no clue about.

“And I keep telling those 25 people to get a life.

“If you’re going to send me a message in the morning, requesting me to pray for your exams, then I’d tell you to go study hard.

“What difference will my prayers make to you?”

The actor has established himself as one of the leading actors in the Pakistani entertainment industry.

Fahad made his film debut in 2014 in Nabeel Qureshi’s film Na Maloom Afraad.

On the work front, Fahad will next be seen in the upcoming film Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad alongside Mahira Khan.
