In a recent appearance on The Mirza Malik Show, Fahad Mustafa explained why he began hosting TV shows.
He has also long ruled the movie screens as a film star and the drama screens as a producer.
The actor’s career saw a turning point when he started hosting Jeeto Pakistan. As a result, he is now known as Pakistan’s favourite presenter.
Fahad has now shared the real reason behind his choice.
Regarding his change in profession inside the entertainment sector, Fahad told hosts Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza:
“Pakistan is a very tricky country when it comes to the showbiz industry.
“People fear taking the chances and there is always a first in everything.
“There was a time people used to stop actors from doing hosting.
“There was a concept that if you step into hosting, your career will be over.
“I switched to hosting because I wanted to make money.
“It’s that I had been acting for quite some time and I didn’t have money, hosting changed things for me.
“My energy never comes down on the show because the money never comes down.
“Also, hosting puts me on map, I am known for my hosting and not for my hit films.”
The Zindagi Dhoop Tum Ghana Saya actor added that although his work is “never about money”, hosting does provide him with financial advantages.
Fahad Mustafa was the first guest on Shoaib and Sania’s talk show and he said he felt “honoured”.
While fans of the first episode of the show praised Fahad Mustafa’s hosting skills online, many were frustrated by the language barrier.
Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza frequently questioned Fahad Mustafa in English, something many viewers could not understand.
Some viewers stated that they “prefer more Urdu spoken”.

“Speak less English so we can understand what you are saying.”
In December 2022, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza’s much-awaited talk show host finally premiered on Urduflix.
Away from hosting, Fahad Mustafa is married and has two children.
The host shares a son and daughter with his wife, Sana Fahad.
Fahad Mustafa recently travelled to Bangkok, Thailand with his family.
Sana Fahad’s birthday was also celebrated by the family during their holiday.
Fahad Mustafa’s popular dramas include the likes of Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Kankar, Dusri Bivi and Main Chand Si.
