“Relationship? Means? Sexual relationship?"
Vivek Vaswani has addressed Shah Rukh Khan’s rumoured relationships, including allegedly having an affair with Priyanka Chopra.
Vivek worked with SRK during his early career and launched him in the 1992 film Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman.
On Siddharth Kannan’s YouTube channel, Vivek spoke about the rumours of an affair between Shah Rukh and Priyanka.
Rumours arose that Shah Rukh and Priyanka began a romance during the filming of Don 2.
The Bollywood megastar once broke his silence on the rumours and claimed it “soiled” their friendship.
Shah Rukh also called Priyanka his closest friend and said she would always have a place in his heart.
Vivek revealed the truth behind the rumoured relationship as well as Shah Rukh’s other alleged relationships.
On SRK’s alleged relationship with him, Vivek stated:
“Relationship? Means? Sexual relationship? No. He’s not that sort.
“I don’t know where the rumours came from.
“We were living in the same house, my parents were there, there was tension, stress about career, he had to get married to Gauri, where would a relationship be in all of this?
“There was a relationship of friendship but there was no relationship of sex?”
He explained that as Shah Rukh became a bigger star, more things were written about him.
Addressing the claims he had an affair with Priyanka Chopra, Vivek stated:
“It is not true. In fact, from the time I have known him, he has been a one-woman man all his life.
“How many flings have you heard of?
“We have had one rumour of Priyanka Chopra, that also its a rumour but what else have we heard of Shah Rukh?
“Nothing. He’s not that kind of a person.”
On a sadder note, Vivek revealed that he has not seen Shah Rukh since his 2018 birthday party, admitting there is “no” relationship anymore.
He said: “We don’t have a relationship. We don’t talk.
“We don’t meet, but when we do, it’s as if the years were not there. I am not a suburbanite. I am a teacher. I am the dean of a school. I work 18 hours a day.
“I travel by bus, local train, and Shah Rukh is a superstar.”
Shah Rukh Khan has been married to Gauri Khan since 1991. They are parents to three children.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is married to Nick Jonas and are parents to Malti Marie.
