"I hope you guys feel this in your feet."
Dananeer Mobeen has officially made her singing debut with ‘Touch’, an upbeat dance track featuring musician Haider Mustehsan (Hydra).
The track, produced with Will Baker, is available on all major platforms and marks a new creative chapter for the popular actress and social media star.
Mobeen announced the release on Instagram through a collaborative post with Mustehsan.
She shared a snippet from the music video alongside the announcement.
“TOUCH – OUT NOW ON ALL PLATFORMS.”
Mobeen added her own message expressing her personal investment in the project and the energetic spirit she hoped it would inspire in listeners.
She wrote that she and Baker had put considerable thought into the track and added:
“I hope you guys feel this in your feet.”
‘Touch’ blends English and Urdu lyrics, giving it a contemporary pop feel while retaining a distinctly South Asian flavour throughout its infectious runtime.
The accompanying music video perfectly complements the song’s carefree and celebratory mood.
Mobeen and Mustehsan are seen dancing alongside a piano, spending time around a house and pool, and driving together in a convertible.
Mobeen keeps her look relaxed and fun throughout the video, wearing a long-sleeved black top with jeans and a bandana tied in her hair.
Mustehsan had been teasing the collaboration in the days leading up to its release through a series of videos that left followers intrigued.
The release clearly caught many fans off guard, with the comments section filling up quickly with surprised reactions.
Fellow artists from the Pakistani entertainment industry also showed up in force to celebrate Mobeen’s latest creative venture.
Shae Gill wrote simply: “You’re so beautiful.”
Mamya Shajaffer added: “So cute.”
The move into music comes as Mobeen continues to expand steadily beyond her viral internet personality status.
Her acting credits include Sinf-e-Aahan and Meem Se Mohabbat, two projects that helped establish her as a credible artist on Pakistani television.
She was also part of the sports film Mera Lyari, which starred her alongside Ayesha Omar and Trinette Lucas.
The overwhelmingly positive reaction to ‘Touch’ from both fans and industry peers suggests that her musical debut has been well received.
If the enthusiasm in the comments section is any indication, audiences are genuinely excited to see what direction Dananeer Mobeen explores next.
