"This is like...actually romantic."
If there’s one artist currently at the peak of professional and personal success, it is Charli XCX.
The singer recently appeared in an interview with Vanity Fair, where she dazzled in the accompanying photoshoot.
Charli was seen in beautiful shots, which perfectly underlined her beauty and maturity.
In her interview, the star made some honest comments within her responses.
She took to Instagram to share some of her images from the photoshoot.
Anna Peele conducted the project, and Aidan Zamiri took the photographs.
The interview was titled Charli’s Next Chapter.
On the front cover, Charli XCX looked stunning in a pale yellow gown with shades of light green.
In the front cover story, Charli got candid about her previous plastic surgery.
She said: “I’m always thinking about how I look and what I would change about my face.
“I’m f**king thinking about all the s**t that I could do and pull and stretch and morph on my face, all the time.
“I have to just remind myself that maybe I can’t get too sucked into that.”
In another picture, Charli posed in a lovely gown with Aidan behind her.
The photographer also directed her music video for ‘360‘.
She showed her legs and looked confidently into the camera, emphasising her penchant for striking looks and high-quality aesthetics.
Charli XCX is currently looking to expand her horizons, with the pop star taking her music to the screen from the stage.
She has several film projects in development. One of these is the upcoming Wuthering Heighs, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
Charli has contributed original songs for the film, which is scheduled to be released on February 13, 2026.
In her interview, Charli revealed that her soundtrack from the film has an “elegant and brutal sound palette”.
She commented: “It couldn’t be more different from Brat.”
Meanwhile, Charli underscored her sex appeal when she went braless for the photoshoot and also allowing her wavy hair to take centre stage.
Charli went on to make some unfiltered comments about her goals and her driving factor.
She declared: “I don’t even think my driving factor has been, ‘I wanna be the biggest pop star ever in the world,’ or anything like that.
“I always just wanted to make music on my own terms and have as many people listen to it as possible, which sounds really simple.
“But I think I’ve really struggled over the years, because I’ve never felt like I fit in.”
“Am I supposed to be this underground left artist, or am I supposed to try and be this commercial package?
“And I think before Brat, I just gave up on fighting with myself on that.
“I really said, ‘Okay, I am going to make this record in this specific way, and I’m actually fine with the consequences of that – if it means no one hears it, if it means I get dropped by my label’.”
In a colourless snap, Charli epitomised elegance and grace.
The lack of colour also gave her the opportunity to embolden her serious side.
In 2025, the star married George Daniel in a gorgeous ceremony, earning more love and affection from her fans.
For Brat, she also won several awards, including a victory at the Grammys.
Charli’s Vanity Fair photoshoot amassed positive comments from netizens, who praised her boldness and exuberant appearance.
One fan said: “Height of glamour!”
Another added: “You would make an amazing Morticia Addams.”
A third said: “This is like…actually romantic.”
With her Vanity Fair shots, Charli XCX embodied confidence, body positivity, and charm.
Her willingness to be honest in her interview also served as an inspiration to many.
