"I am heartbroken!"
Celina Jaitly has moved against her husband as the Mumbai police register a formal criminal complaint for domestic violence.
The Versova police station officially filed the FIR against the Austrian entrepreneur Peter Haag.
Authorities escalated the matter by issuing a Look Out Circular against the hotelier for his alleged non-cooperation.
The legal action follows serious claims of physical harm and criminal intimidation made by the star.
Celina Jaitly initially sought protection under the Domestic Violence Act in November 2025, citing continuous abuse.
The current proceedings now involve specific sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including cruelty and harassment.
The couple married in 2010 and initially appeared to have a very successful international partnership.
They welcomed twin sons in 2012, and a second set of twins arrived five years later.
Tragedy struck the family in 2017 when one of the younger twins died from a heart condition.
The former Miss India is now seeking a monthly maintenance payment of 10 lakh rupees.
She has also requested 50 crore rupees in compensation for the alleged sustained harassment she suffered.
The custody battle for their three surviving children is currently intensifying across two different countries.
Peter Haag reportedly holds custody of Viraaj, Winston and Arthur within his home nation of Austria.
The actress alleged that her husband has blocked all her telephonic and virtual contact with the boys.
She recently shared an emotional video on Instagram from the grave of her late son in Austria.
In the emotional clip, she claimed her children were moved to an undisclosed location during divorce hearings.
“The last few weeks were the most difficult of my life. I was in Austria for my divorce hearing.”
“Despite an undertaking before an Austrian judge, my children, who were removed to an undisclosed location, were not brought back to the marital residence.”
The star was visibly distressed while explaining her inability to communicate with her beloved children.
“Despite joint custody & a subsisting order of the Austrian Family Court, I am presently DENIED ANY COMMUNICATION with my 3 children & I am heartbroken!”
Mumbai police confirmed that the criminal proceedings are separate from the ongoing domestic violence civil case.
Specific charges against Haag include physical harm and criminal intimidation, according to recent reports from ANI.
The Look Out Circular ensures that Celina Jaitly’s husband will be detained if he attempts to enter India.
