The very talented Humayun Saeed took home the ‘Best Actor’ award for his performance in Punjab Nahi Jaungi.

While the ‘Best Actress’ award was received by the much loved Mahira Khan for her performance in the hard-hitting Verna.

Just like in the West, the Lux Style Awards made a statement by showing solidarity towards the #MeToo or #MeinBhi campaign with a special performance by artists including Ahsan Khan, Amna Ilyas, Ahmed Ali Butt and Ali Azmat.

Aside from the social awareness of the evening, the stars dressed in their finest for the red carpet.

Best Dressed Women

Mahira Khan

Mahira Khan looked stunning in an all-white Faraz Manan ensemble.

With her hair pulled back and minimum accessories, Mahira was a perfect sight for sore eyes.

The intricate embroidery on her outfit and its ruffles made it look an amazing choice for the red carpet.

The confident beauty won the ‘Best Actress’ award but from our side, she even won the Best Dressed look for the evening.

Ayesha Omar

Ayesha Omar looked dazzling in a gold gown as she walked the red carpet in style. It was designed by Atelier Zuhra.

The golden embroidery on her gown made her look like a stunning award trophy.

She matched the voluminous gown with a set of gold earrings. Her pulled back hair complimented the shiny outfit and accessories.

The actress, who recently represented Maybelline Pakistan at New York Fashion Week, loves experimenting with pops of colour and has honed her style to become a true fashion diva of Pakistan.

Mathira

African born Pakistani actress Mathira looked brilliant in a classy maroon dress. The outfit was designed by Mansoor Akram Couture.

The floor-length gown with sequined sleeves had a royal look. Mathira donned a perfect red lipstick to blend well with the dress.

Her makeup was done by Khawar Riaz.

Aamna Baber

The supermodel bagged the ‘Best Model’ award and we have no doubt she was the best choice considering how fabulous she looked at the event.

Aamna made an appearance at the red carpet in a monochrome corset gown.

The interesting bit about this ensemble was the mixture of zebra print with feathers. Aamna chose to wear bold earrings with this outfit that stood out in the monochrome look.

Sanam Saeed

Looking Pretty in Pink was actress Sanam Saeed. The pink gown by Rami Al Ali and bauble earrings by Kiran Fine Jewellery worked well for a princess-like look.

Her simplicity of a toned down makeup and the hair tied in an updo worked wonders.

We have to say we loved Sanam’s elegant choice.

Best Dressed Men

Adnan Malik

Adnan Malik looked dapper all suited up at the award function.

He was seen promoting his upcoming film Cake along with his leading ladies Sanam Saeed and Aamina Sheikh as he posed with them on the red carpet.

The bow tie along with a blue blazer seemed like a good choice for the evening.

Ahad Raza Mir

Ahad Raza Mir looked handsome as ever in a Black suit by Jeremy Street clothing. Ahad is veteran actor Asif Raza Mir’s son and has now made a name for himself with his acting prowess.

He was sporting shoes by luxury brand Gomila. Ahad’s look was managed by hairstylist Babar Zaheer.

Overall, it was a night of glitz and glamour filled with some of best of fashion statements by Pakistani celebs.
