Television actor Ashnoor Kaur has spoken out against what she described as unfair editing during her stint on Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 19.

Ashnoor participated in Bigg Boss 19 but was evicted following a controversial task where she hit fellow contestant Tanya Mittal with a wooden plank.

In a recent interview with Faridoon Sharyar, Ashnoor criticised the show’s editing, claiming her overall contribution inside the house was not accurately portrayed.

She revealed that several of her moments were cut, which led to a misleading narrative about her role in the game.

Ashnoor shared that after leaving the house, she asked her parents whether her arguments with other contestants had been aired.

To her surprise, they told her they had not seen those fights at all during the broadcast.

Explaining her frustration, Ashnoor said the show focused on only one aspect of her journey instead of her wider involvement.

“What actually happened is that they picked up just one track and showed me with only one person,” she said.

She added, “Whereas I was taking stands and fighting with other people in the house on issues I thought were worthy enough to fight for.”

Ashnoor explained that she had equations with multiple contestants, including Zeishan, Baseer and Amaal.

However, she said none of those interactions were shown to the audience or even reflected in the live feed.

When asked if she found the editing unfair, Ashnoor admitted she did, while also acknowledging the limitations of the format.

“Yes. I do understand the fact that in a one-hour episode, or even in a 24-hour live stream, a lot is going on,” she said.

She added that the makers can’t show everything that happens inside the house.

However, Ashnoor felt the narrative being created suggested she was not contributing enough to the show.

“That was because it wasn’t shown,” she said, adding that she was doing things in her own way throughout the season.

She stressed that none of those efforts made it to the final edit, which shaped audience perception.

“So if such a perception is being created, it’s because editing plays a very big role,” Ashnoor concluded.

Bigg Boss 19 concluded on December 7, with actor Gaurav Khanna emerging as the winner of the season.

He defeated Farrhana Bhatt and Pranit More to lift the trophy and take home the prize money.

During his journey on the show, Gaurav also won a car in one of the tasks.

Salman Khan also promised to work with Gaurav Khanna in the future, adding to the highlight moments of the season.
