Others said that it would be a career-defining moment
Arjun Kapoor was subjected to a wave of memes after it was speculated that he might be summoned by the NCB as part of the drugs investigation.
Deepika Padukone has been the most high-profile Bollywood celebrity who has been questioned by the NCB.
Rumours circulated that three actors who have worked with Deepika might be summoned next. The three male stars with the initials ‘A’, ‘S’ and ‘R’ came under suspicion.
This came after it was reported that as many as 50 Bollywood celebrities are currently under the NCB radar.
However, despite the rumours, the NCB rubbished the reports that Deepika’s co-stars will be questioned. When asked if there was any truth to the reports about three “superstars” being next for questioning, a senior NCB official said “false”.
He went on to say: “Do you want me to comment on false stories some of the media is reporting?”
Although the NCB said that the reports were false, social media users could not help but speculate that ‘A’ was Arjun Kapoor.
This led to memes being made of him.
One person created a meme of what they thought Arjun would say during questioning.

This comes after the actor and his girlfriend Malaika Arora tested positive for Coronavirus. On September 5, 2020, the actor shared the news on Instagram, calling it his “duty”.
The post read: “It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for Coronavirus. I’m feeling ok and I’m asymptomatic.
“I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine.
“I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come.”
On the work front, Arjun is set to star in the comedy horror film Bhoot Police. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez.
A source close to the project said: “Arjun and Saif play a pair of ghosthunters in the film.
“The makers have been working towards getting the right ensemble on board for a while now. The film, produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri, will roll by the year-end.”
