"It’s an emotional moment for the whole family"
Arbaaz Khan and his wife, Sshura Khan, have welcomed their first child together. It was reported that the couple had a baby girl on October 4, 2025.
Sshura was admitted to Mumbai’s PD Hinduja Hospital on October 4.
The couple has yet to share the news on social media but may do so soon.
A source told Hindustan Times:
“Both the mom and the baby are fine. It’s an emotional moment for the whole family and they are just happy.”
The couple have since announced that their newborn is named Sipaara.
The arrival of their daughter comes shortly after the family celebrated Sshura’s baby shower. The intimate gathering was attended by relatives and close friends.
Sshura was dressed in a yellow frill gown for the event, while Arbaaz matched her outfit with a yellow kurta.
Salman Khan attended in a black shirt, alongside family members and security.
Other guests included Arpita Khan, Sohail Khan with his son Nirvaan, and Arbaaz’s elder son, Arhaan Khan, from his previous marriage to Malaika Arora. Friends such as Iulia Vantur and Gauahar Khan also joined the celebrations.
Arbaaz, who married make-up artist Sshura Khan in December 2023, had confirmed her pregnancy earlier this year.
He previously said: “Yes, it is there.
“I’m not denying that information because right now it’s something that is out there, my family knows about it.
“People have got to know about it, and it’s fine. It’s pretty evident also. It’s a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We’re going to welcome this new life in our life.”
Arbaaz, who has a 22-year-old son named Arhaan with ex-wife Malaika Arora, admitted he is nervous about becoming a father again after such a long gap.
He continued: “Everybody tends to be nervous. Any person would feel (the nerves); I’m also getting into fatherhood now after some time.
“It’s a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I’m excited. I’m happy and I’m looking forward.
“It’s just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility. I’m kind of liking that.”
Reflecting on what kind of parent he hoped to be, the Dabangg actor said:
“There are no categories.
“You just have to be like a parent who is good.
“A good parent is someone who’s around for their child, who’s attentive, who’s probably caring, loving and is doing the best to provide to the child.
“That’s all that I want to be.”
