"This project with CITTA is close to my heart"

Anita Dongre has curated a dainty bracelet for CITTA, a non-profit organisation, which will be launched in New York at the Anita Dongre store.

A fine piece of accessory completes any plain outfit. Whether going out for brunch or attending a business meeting – adding a delicate jewellery piece will instantly elevate your everyday look to the max.

But picking the right choice can be difficult.

The new bracelet by Anita Dongre is minimal but it owns the power to create the utmost impact with its modular jewellery concept and versatile design.

The fashion designer has designed the jewellery piece under the soon-to-be-launched initiative ‘Promise of Hope’.

It aims to contribute to and assist the education of the girl students at the Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls School in Jaisalmer, India.

Dongre said: “I have always firmly believed that empowering women is a prerequisite for a truly inclusive and progressive India.

“This project with CITTA is close to my heart as it is dedicated to empowering young girls.

“The bracelet is inspired by the kindness, endurance, and gentle strength of the elephant and is designed with the intention that young women have the ability to choose their path and can access their heartfelt dreams.”

Almost 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this bracelet will go to CITTA in their aid to educate and empower these young women.

The Jaisalmer-based school was designed by internationally renowned architect Diana Kellogg and it has the support of inspirational women like Natasha Poonawala, Isha Ambani and Anita Dongre to name a few.

When style fulfils a purpose, the result is stunning, as this bracelet proves.

The wedding season is right around the corner and this simple piece of jewellery may just become your go-to accessory that transitions from day to night and looks great with both traditional and modern outfits.

Style it with either your evening gowns over a satin glove or mix it up to stack it all together as metal bracelets for extra glam, this piece of Anita Dongre jewellery can be worn in multiple ways, thus validating the investment.

For over two decades, Anita Dongre has been at the forefront of Indian fashion.

The House of Anita Dongre (previously known as AND designs) was founded in 1995 and consists of four distinct brands.

Global Desi is a modern line, Grassroot is a sustainable modern line, Pinkcity is a jewellery line and Anita Dongre is a bespoke bridal and menswear label.
