One man spoke about his ‘love’ for Alia Bhatt to Amitabh Bachchan on Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The game show has seen a wide spectrum of contestants and Amitabh got to quiz a massive fan of his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt.

Contestant Manoj Kumar Goyal also revealed that ‘anar’ (flowerpot) was his favourite firework.

This led to the host sharing his own Diwali accident with a firework, resulting in his hand being severely injured.

A promo of the upcoming episode was shared on Twitter.

The promotional video showed Amitabh Bachchan asking Manoj about his favourite actor.

He revealed that he was a huge fan of Madhuri Dixit while he was at school. Manoj went on to say that among the new-age actors, Alia Bhatt is his favourite.

The contestant went on to speak about witnessing Alia’s beauty from the beginning.

He said: “Literally, she looked so stunning at the very first sight.”

This prompted Manoj’s wife, who was sitting in the audience, to start laughing.

Meanwhile, Amitabh told Manoj not to turn around to avoid seeing his wife’s reaction.

Amitabh added:

“I am also such a big admirer of her (Alia), my wife isn’t sitting behind me so I can speak.”

The pair went on to speak about fireworks and how ‘anar’ is among the best types.

Manoj explained that when it comes to Diwali, the first fireworks he buys are ‘anar’.

Amitabh then advised the Rajasthan-based contestant to light this type of firework only after placing it on the ground.

The legendary Bollywood actor recalled an incident where he lit a firework in his hand on Diwali.

The firework burst, leaving Amitabh’s hand like a “tandoori chicken” and causing him a lot of pain afterwards.

Amitabh Bachchan’s story left audience members emotional but he soon brought a smile back to their faces after making a joke.

He joked that he asked the doctor if the lines on his palm would be repaired.

Amitabh asked the doctor to fix the line of fortune on his palm so that such incidents would be avoided.

Amitabh Bachchan went on to show Manoj and the audience his hand, explaining that the thumb of his left hand is more restricted compared to his right hand.
