"I left my daughter in the car boss."
Amir Khan made a blunder when he sent his car to a valet but forgot his six-year-old daughter was still sitting in the back.
The former world champion left his £120,000 Range Rover with a valet in Dubai.
But in an Instagram Story, Amir realised his daughter Alayna was still in the back seat.
In the video, Amir narrates that he had sent his car for a valet but made a huge mistake:
“Sent the car for a valet, guess what? I left my daughter in the car boss.”
He continued to film as he waited impatiently for the car doors to open, asking the driver:
“Can you open the door?”
The doors eventually open and Amir is met with a very unhappy-looking Alayna, who is holding a pink mobile phone.
Amir helps his daughter out of the car and the pair start to walk away while the driver repeatedly apologises.
As the driver continued to apologise, it appeared that he also did not know the youngster was sitting in the back.
Amir is heard saying: “You didn’t know she was here?”
The driver replies: “No.”
Amir says: “You didn’t know she was in the back seat?”
The driver adds: “I’m so sorry.”
Although the Instagram Story is no longer available, many netizens shared the video online.

Unsurprisingly, Amir’s parenting gaffe led to him being trolled.
One asked: “How can you forget a whole human?”
Some blamed his forgetfulness on his boxing career, with one saying:
“Looks like all those blows to his head are affecting his memory.”
Another wrote: “Lol that man got punched in the head for a living. From time to time he is bound to forget some s**t.”
Others noted Alayna’s unimpressed look.
A comment read: “Her face said it all… she’s was not impressed.”
Another added: “She was not impressed, the way she was squeezing her little face.”
One person believed that this was not the first time that Amir Khan had accidentally left Alayna in the back of the car, writing:
“Her face was like this ain’t my first rodeo.”
A user wondered why the driver was apologising:
“Omg her little face!!!! And why is the poor man saying sorry?!? It’s not his fault.”
The video also prompted concern from viewers, with one person calling Amir Khan’s decision to film the moment “worrying”.
The user wrote: “Why would he be proud to film that moment/post it… worrying.”
Others highlighted that Alayna owned a smartphone, despite only being six years old.
A comment read: “Having the latest iPhone at that age is mad.”
Another said: “She’s got a phone.”
Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom are also parents to 10-year-old Lamaisah and Muhammad, aged four.
The family split their time between Dubai, London and Bolton.
