Shah Rukh Khan’s meeting with Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae has taken the internet by storm after their selfie from Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh went viral.
The star-studded event, part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 cultural initiative, brought together global icons from film, music, and entertainment.
Representing India, Shah Rukh Khan attended alongside Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.
South Korea was represented by Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun, who both starred in Netflix’s hit series Squid Game.
Lee Jung-jae shared a photo with Shah Rukh Khan on Instagram, writing:
“Honoured to be with the legendary Mr @iamsrk.”
In the picture, Shah Rukh exuded effortless charm in an all-black ensemble, while Lee kept it casual in a hoodie.
The image quickly gained millions of views, with fans calling it “the crossover of the century”.

On October 17, Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh appeared on stage for a session.
Salman downplayed the idea of stardom and said the three of them never considered themselves “stars”.
He said: “None of us call ourselves stars.
“Some journalists may write ‘Salman Khan, star’ or ‘Aamir Khan, super duper star’, but we don’t believe in it at all.”
“At home, we are just like everyone else. I still get yelled at by my father and mother.”
For Shah Rukh Khan, the encounter comes amid filming for his upcoming action thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand.
Lee Jung-jae recently completed the third and final season of Squid Game, further solidifying his place as one of South Korea’s most influential global actors.
