Amir Khan divides Fans with Wedding Venue’s Design

Amir Khan is all set to open his own luxury wedding venue, opening in March 2024 in Bolton.

The glass-fronted building has palm trees and a pond in the front. It also has a waterfall inside plus lighting and sound system.

However, the design has divided opinion.

One person likened it to a building in Dubai while another said it looks 10 years out of date.

The location has also raised eyebrows. Called The Balmayna, it is down a back road and is next to a car wash.

One said: “The design is about 10 years out of date.”

Another said: “It’s like a building from Dubai.”

Construction work on the wedding venue began in 2019, however, numerous issues such as a fire and Covid-19 resulted in delays.

It also meant Amir Khan spent much more than required. The venue was initially set to cost £5 million, however, Amir ended up spending more than double.

A spokesperson for The Balmayna said:
