"It's for everyone. Because it genuinely is."

The trailer of Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Brahmastra has created a massive buzz on the internet.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles, the film is all set to release on September 9, 2022.

With strong VFX and an intense storyline, Brahmastra has everything that will wow a film lover to the fullest.

A proper mixture of sci-fi elements and mythology, Brahmastra‘s trailer seems epic and truly out of the world.

The film will have a huge Pan-India release.

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Ayan Mukherji are looking forward to the film cracking the South market and garnering immense love from the audience across the country.

Addressing the term ‘Pan-India’ Alia shed Bhatt some light on the same in a recent interview.

In a chat with Kaushik Rajaraman on DT Next, Alia expressed her thoughts on the ongoing debate about the South vs Hindi films.

She feels that it is ultimately the emotion of a ‘Pan-India’ film and that these are all Indian films.

Alia Bhatt said: “I guess what I’ve also learned from this experience now that we’re sitting here and having this conversation, is that there is no Hindi film, Tamil film, Telugu film, there are Indian films.

“And there has to be that feeling, and we need to just give you that, to your audience, to the people that this is a film for you.

“It’s for everyone. Because it genuinely is. Sometimes there is a feeling that’s not for you, but that’s not true.”

The film is slated to release in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The film is the first part of a trilogy that focuses on the story of Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor), a young man who is on the brink of love with Isha (Alia Bhatt).

But their world is turned upside down when Shiva learns that he has a mysterious connection to the Brahmastra and a great power within that he doesn’t understand yet, the power of fire.

Shiva soon begins to discover his true calling as he is assisted by Guru (Amitabh) and Anish (Nagarjuna) to attain the Brahmastra for a better world.

In addition to the main cast, it is heavily rumoured that there will be a host of star cameos.

Chiranjeevi has lent his voice to the Telugu version of the trailer of the film.
