Speculation ignited after a Reddit user alleged the actress and her husband were spotted at a medical facility recently.
The post appeared in a popular online community dedicated to the latest gossip regarding major Indian film industry personalities.
A user shared the information under a title claiming the couple is either expecting or currently planning.
They said: “Alia Bhatt is either already expecting a second baby or they are planning to.”
This specific claim originates from someone who allegedly visits the same medical specialist as the world-famous stars.
The user stated that his sister-in-law personally witnessed the couple during a private and highly discreet appointment.
They said: “My bhabhi goes to the same gynaecologist as Alia and some other celebs.”
The report suggests the duo chose to remain unseen by the general public during their visit to the doctor.
They reportedly used a back entrance to avoid being photographed by the many paparazzi usually stationed outside such clinics.
Security guards were the only people who witnessed their departure from the medical centre after the meeting had finished.
The user said: “No media was allowed when my bhabhi and bhaiya reportedly saw them.”
They further clarified that this visit was separate from a recent instance where the actress was spotted alone.
“That was for a completely different reason.”
