Alia Bhatt admitted to Hospital due to Exhaustion

According to reports, Alia Bhatt was admitted to hospital on January 17, 2021, due to exhaustion.

The actress has been busy shooting for her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

It was reported that Ali was suffering from nausea and hyperacidity as well as exhaustion due to the film’s busy schedule. She was subsequently taken to hospital.

Fortunately, she recovered and was discharged from hospital the same day. It is believed that Alia returned to the film’s set the following day.

While it has been reported that Alia was hospitalised due to exhaustion, her Gangubai Kathiawadi co-star Seema Pahwa believes that other factors contributed to the actress’ exhaustion.

She said: “I wasn’t a part of the shoot that day.

“However, I must say that she might have got exhausted for some other reason than the film’s shoot.

“Sanjay Leela Bhansali is someone who doesn’t rush you with work. He knows what he wants. He is very clear and hardly shoots one scene a day.

“Things have worked smoothly as far as the film’s shoot is concerned.”

Seema added: “Also, we aren’t even travelling for this project as largely the film has been shot at a set in suburban Mumbai.

“Almost 90 per cent of the film is done only a few songs are left.”

Gangubai Kathiawadi is one of the most talked-about movies of 2021.

Since it was announced, it has been creating a lot of buzz in the media.

Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film will be the first collaboration between the renowned director and Alia Bhatt.

Alia will play the titular role of Gangubai, who was forced into prostitution as a young girl and later became an influential brothel owner with gangsters as her clients.

The film is set for a Diwali 2021 release.

Apart from Sanjay’s biopic, Alia will also be seen in Brahmastra opposite her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.

The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and has been produced by Karan Johar.

It will mark Alia’s first collaboration with her actor boyfriend.

In addition, Alia Bhatt will also be making her Telugu film debut. She will star in the film RRR opposite Ram Charan.

SS Rajamouli is directing the film and Alia shot a portion of the film during the first week of December 2020, in Hyderabad.
