Ajith Kumar, whose last release was the Tamil film Thunivu, is currently on a holiday with his wife Shalini.
Recently, on February 5, 2023, Shalini took to Instagram to share pictures from their holiday, and pictures of Ajith are being widely shared on social media.
In the picture taken at Praia do Tamariz, a popular beach in Portugal, Ajith is seen posing for the camera as the sun sets in the background.
Shalini captioned the picture: “My sunshine.”
The Valimai actor is seen posing by leaning on a pole.
He is wearing a black T-shirt, charcoal pants, and white sneakers in the picture.
Actor John Kokken commented: “The Sunset & AK both are just (fire emojis).”
In another picture, Ajith can be seen overlooking the airport runway from the terminal.
Shalini captioned the picture with heart-eye emojis.
He is seen wearing a denim shirt, pants, and black sneakers as he stood with his back to the camera.
Several fans have flooded the comments section with heart and fire emojis.
A few pictures and video clips from the airport also surfaced on social media.
Meanwhile, Ajith’s last release Thunivu grossed over Rs. 200 crores globally during its theatrical run.
The film also featured Manju Warrier in a key role.
Thunivu is a heist action-drama that takes place inside a bank.
In the film, Ajith played a negative character who heads the gang that takes control of a bank with hostages.
Upon his return from this trip, Ajith is expected to start the work on his upcoming film tentatively titled AK62.
Earlier, it was reported that director Vignesh Shivan will direct the movie.
However, now, reports are doing the rounds that Vignesh Shivan might be replaced.
There are also reports that director Magizh Thirumeni has been signed to direct Ajith’s next.
However, an official announcement is yet to be announced.
Maghizh Thirumeni recently directed Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Kalaga Thalaivan.
There are also reports that Vignesh Shivan’s film has only got postponed and not shelved.
After AK62, there is a chance that Ajith start will work on Vignesh Shivan’s film.
In May 2022, Vignesh took to Twitter to thank Ajith for the opportunity after the project was announced.
He tweeted: “Thank U #AjithSir for this greatest opportunity to work with you for the prestigious #AK62. Words can’t explain the happiness.”
But now, Vignesh Shivan has removed the hashtag #AK62 from his Twitter bio.
