"She asked for 2 million."
A controversy has erupted on social media involving popular actress Hania Aamir and podcast host Adnan Faisal.
The heated debate began when Adnan alleged that the star was demanding 2 million rupees for a single appearance.
During a recent Ramzan transmission episode, Faysal Quraishi questioned Adnan Faisal about this specific payment issue with the actress.
Adnan replied: “It was Hania Aamir’s choice. Even if she asked for 2 million, we have never paid that amount to anyone.
“I have done around 700 podcasts so far.”
Faysal then suggested that the host should have paid the amount, considering the high views she would surely bring.
“Think about it she would come to your podcast. How many views would it get?”
Adnan countered by asking Faysal if he truly believed Hania was a much bigger star than the veteran actor himself.
Faysal acknowledged: “Yes, today, she is a star, brother. She is an international star now. I am a local star.”
However, the situation took a sharp turn when content creator Meiraj Haq decided to expose the podcast host online.
Meiraj shared a message from the team of Adnan, which allegedly asked him to pay money for his appearance on the podcast.
He revealed that they wanted him to pay PKR 285,000 to be promoted on their popular social media show.
The actor told them that he does not believe in paying money to sit for interviews with any media.
Following this exposure, several other digital creators came forward to share their own stories of being asked for money.
Zenith Irfan commented that she also received a similar message and described the entire deal as being very shady.
Talha Maqsood stated that the team asked him to pay 300,000 rupees to get a spot on the show.
Sohaib Ali mentioned that they contacted him for a podcast and then asked him to pay 400,000 rupees instead.
He noted that they were inviting him while simultaneously charging him a heavy fee for the supposed promotional opportunity.
Famous actress Aiman Khan reacted to the news by simply leaving a laughing emoji on the post.
This revelation has led many fans to question the integrity of the podcasting industry and its hidden financial structures.
They also labelled Adnan Faisal a hypocrite for asking his podcast guests for money and making it an issue when Hania Aamir demanded compensation.
