"In Mangalpur no one gets married."
The makers of the highly anticipated film Bhooth Bangla have officially released a very spooky and funny teaser.
This upcoming horror comedy project marks the grand reunion of actor Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan once again.
It will hit theatres on April 10, 2026, which puts it in a direct clash with Docoit.
It has been nineteen long years since this iconic duo worked together on a major Hindi-language film project.
In the teaser, the audience is introduced to a very eerie and mysterious village called Mangalpur.
A voice-over sets a dark tone by stating: “In Mangalpur no one gets married.”
The clip further warns of “Vadhusur”, which seems to be a central threat lurking within the shadows of the story.
Akshay Kumar plays a man who is searching for a perfect place to get married in this strange village.
He eventually finds an old haveli, which appears to be the same iconic location from the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Sharp-eyed fans will notice that this is the same place where the ghost Manjulika once resided many years.
The teaser shows funny altercations between Akshay and Paresh Rawal, along with the beloved actors Asrani and Rajpal Yadav.
