"I’m excited to get back on set."

Adarsh Gourav has officially confirmed that he will return for the second season of the series Alien: Earth.

The actor gained significant acclaim for his portrayal of a character named Slightly during the successful first season.

This highly anticipated second instalment will be executive produced by the legendary and acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott himself.

Joining the ensemble cast this time is the Emmy-winning actor Peter Dinklage.

Noah Hawley serves as the creator of this science fiction series, which explores a futuristic and dystopian Earth.

The story takes place in the year 2120, when five massive corporations govern the entire planet and its resources.

These powerful entities include Prodigy Weyland Yutani Lynch Dynamic and Threshold, which control all aspects of human life.

In this era, humans coexist with cyborgs and synthetics, which are advanced humanoid robots powered by artificial intelligence.

A major plot twist involves the CEO of Prodigy Corporation unlocking the technology to create conscious humanoid hybrids.

The upcoming season will follow Sydney Chandler as Wendy, who leads the hybrid-controlled territory known as Neverland.

Wendy must now deal with the difficult aftermath of overthrowing the previous leader, who was named Boy Kavalier.

Adarsh Gourav expressed his deep gratitude for the overwhelming response his character received from the global viewing audience.

He shared: “Being a part of Alien: Earth has been an incredibly special experience for me.

“The response to Season 1, especially to my character, has been truly overwhelming and deeply encouraging.

“Slightly is such a unique and emotionally complex character, and getting the opportunity to explore his journey further in Season 2 is something I’m really looking forward to.

“Working with a team led by visionaries like Noah Hawley and Ridley Scott is inspiring in every sense, and being surrounded by such talented co-actors pushes you to constantly grow.

“I’m excited to get back on set and dive into this world again.”

The actor will share screen space with talented stars, including Alex Lawther, Essie Davis and the great Samuel Blenkin.

Other notable cast members include Babou Ceesay and Timothy Olyphant, who bring their unique acting skills to the show.

Adarsh previously discussed how audiences today often flock to big-ticket films like Animal and Dhurandhar.

He wondered where performers like him would find their place in an industry dominated by such massive commercial hits.

However, his international success proves that there is a massive global market for versatile and emotionally grounded actors.

Gourav first achieved international recognition for his powerful performance as Balram Halwai in the Netflix film The White Tiger.

This breakout role earned him a prestigious BAFTA nomination for the category of Best Actor in a Leading Role.

His most recent release in the Indian film industry was a survival thriller titled the movie Tu Yaa Main.

Adarsh Gourav remains highly enthusiastic about returning to the set to further develop the complex journey of Slightly.
