Zayn has suffered another blow to his career as he and his manager have parted ways amid several setbacks and claims he punched Louis Tomlinson.

The former One Direction bandmates were set to appear in a Netflix travel series together, driving across the United States and reflecting on their careers.

But it was scrapped after it was claimed that the pair had a bust-up, with Zayn allegedly punching Louis in the face.

The Sun reported that Zayn had made a remark about Louis’ late mother Johannah.

A source said Louis was “stunned and in shock” by the alleged comment, and added that his head was “cut” during the incident. It was also claimed Zayn was wearing rings at the time of the alleged punch.

Since the alleged incident, the singers have reportedly not spoken to each other.

According to The Sun, Zayn’s manager dropped him, with a source saying:

“Things reached a point where his management felt they couldn’t do anything else, and they recently resigned.

“Now he is looking for the third manager of his solo career. It’s not a good look.”

However, The Mirror said the artist and his manager mutually parted ways.

The professional development also comes shortly after Zayn cancelled his US tour dates and two UK arena shows.

The cancellations came after his recent hospitalisation for a mystery illness.

Zayn was admitted to hospital on the same day his album, KONNAKOL, was released.

Amid his professional challenges, Zayn’s personal life has also returned to the spotlight after comments from his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards.

Perrie appeared on the Good Company podcast, where she spoke about the emotional impact of their breakup and the public fallout.

She told host Jamie Laing:

“When you go through heartbreak, it is hellish.”

“It’s the worst thing in the world. You can’t eat, you can’t sleep, you feel horrendous. You feel abandoned and you don’t feel good enough. You feel like you’ve been left for something better.

“And then what makes it even worse is, I felt like the world was then looking at me, laughing at me… Not my fans, my fans were like, ‘We love you, we’ll fight your corner no matter what’.

“But I felt embarrassed. I felt horrified. It was awful.”

Perrie also claimed there was “a bit of an overlap” between their relationship and Zayn’s later relationship with Gigi Hadid.

She said: “I think, when you’re moving on with somebody else, you always get on better.

“When you’re the one left behind, that’s when it’s hard, because it’s like, ‘Oh s**t, they’ve left me for someone more beautiful than me, someone better than me’. Whatever it is, that’s how it felt at the time.”
