"The women in my family have suffered enough."
Zia Zulfiqar, brother of popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai, has appealed to everyone to stop involving his sister-in-law, Aroob Jatoi, in the ongoing betting app case.
In a video statement, Zia said that their mother and Ducky’s wife have suffered immense mental stress due to the controversy surrounding the case.
He addressed the false reports circulating online that claimed his brother had been sentenced to seven years in prison and fined 15 million rupees.
Zia clarified that these claims are completely untrue and that the misinformation has worsened the family’s anxiety.
Sharing details of his recent visit to the jail, Zia said that Saad had been crying for two days straight.
Zia shared: “He kept asking why the case had become so complicated.”
He added that Ducky insisted the issue was not as severe as portrayed online.
The YouTuber has now spent three months in custody, including 22 days on physical remand.
Zia explained that the constant spread of half-truths by various media pages and vloggers has only deepened the family’s distress.
He emphasised that the ongoing legal battle is not about revenge or personal benefit, but about justice and awareness.
According to Zia, their complaint against the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) aims to expose the misuse of power.
Zia revealed that he spoke with Ducky Bhai through a glass barrier at the jail.
During the conversation, he learned that many inmates had been victims of similar blackmail.
He said that their stories inspired him to raise awareness so that others can find the courage to report such exploitation.

Reflecting on the experience, Zia noted that his family is privileged to afford legal representation, something many prisoners cannot manage.
He said: “Ordinary prisoners struggle to even pay travel expenses, let alone hire a lawyer.”
Zia made it clear that the NCCIA as an organisation is not corrupt, but said that certain individuals within it abused their authority.
He praised the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle for their transparency and cooperation, saying that the officers have supported the family since the beginning.
Zia also urged citizens to reach out to the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle if they ever experience blackmail or harassment by officials.
He advised: “Gather your evidence and report it. The FIA Anti-Corruption Circle can genuinely help and restore faith in the system.”
Zia concluded by asking people to stop targeting Aroob Jatoi and his mother, saying the situation has already taken an emotional toll.
“The women in my family have suffered enough. Please show empathy before sharing or commenting on false news.”
Zia Zulfiqar’s message has drawn support online, with many urging the public to respect his request and await verified updates.
